What do you look for when you browse around blogshops or online shopping site? Trendy clothes? Is it cheap deals? How about unique designs? Perhaps it is exclusiveness of a blogshop or online shopping site owner designing her own items.

Well I have found a blogshop or online shopping site which values exclusivity very much, and they claim that 90% of their items are designed and manufactured by them. The other 10% of their items are sourced internationally and imported.

They also fall into the category of trendy clothes. Read on if you are keen to know more about my views about their blogshop or online shopping site.

Her Velvet Vase is a blogshop or online shopping site that you might like if you are into Trendy Clothes. Over there you can also find clothes that is suitable for work. This blogshop or online shopping site was one of the Finalist for Asia-Pacific Blog Awards for best blogshop.

Design Template

#1 The first impression of their page is enough for you to not exit the page immediately. Instead, it does catch your attention to want to find out about them and their product.

#2 A simple and clean design template with navigation tabs is available.

#3 Proper categories were used for ease of navigation for you. If you are curious to find out about them, you have to visit the FAQ (Frequently asked questions) at the end of the page to find out more. To order, do look out for the terms and conditions.

It does make you wonder initially on how the ordering process is or how did they come about. But shortly, if you were to explore the pages you will find out the answer to your doubts.

You might like this particular function that they have called “Additional Pictures”

This function allows you to see other angles of the items and other colours if it is available.

Focus and Content of the Blogshop or Online Shopping Site

There wasn’t much description about their target focus age group or their genre. Rather, striving to have exclusive items were their goal. If you ask me to rate whether they have fulfilled their focus and the content of their blogshop or online shopping site, on a scale of 10, I will rate them a 8 for their focus and content of their blogshop or online shopping site.

You might agree with me that you would hope to see more variety. Yet, there is exclusiveness in their items because majority of it are designed by themselves so you can give them some lee-ways on not having large variety.

Don’t you think that some of the dresses are suitable for work and it is trendy too. The only disappointment is that the dress length is 33 inch. So that is a little short for me.

At the moment, their items are majority dresses. So if you are looking for a blogshop or online shopping site that sells tops and bottoms, this blogshop does not satisfy this need of yours.

Customer Service

I did not enquire about anything as I have not seen anything that is suitable for my preference of length.

Best deal?

It is a good deal. Price range from SGD$24-$32. They have a number of dresses that uses material such as silk and satin blend. It does look very comfortable.

Conclusion

Overall, this blogshop or online shopping site is worth the visit. If dress length of 33inch is alright for you, you might find something that you like there.

Hey Rebecca,

I’m not tall. I’m shorter than you. I just have a preference to wear dresses that touches by knee at least. I’m 1.63m =)

goodness, my internet encountered a problem while trying to post a comment! I typed a really long comment about them, but I don’t think it went through due to my silly internet, but point in short, I find them a cool shop although I have not ordered anything from them yet!

yeah their items are quite nice, quite a nice layout too. Navigation can be improved abit like categorising of their items I feel. What do you think?

hmm, personally? I think their lack of categorising is ok because they have a pretty tight focus on dresses with the occasional long top/mini dress. I really like that they only show available items on the front page for past collections too, so that I won’t have to pine after an out of stock item
