In one of my previous post, Trendy Hair Accessories – Skranchie, I have shared a review about this blogshop or online shopping site called SkranchieZ. I have also conducted an email interview with her, Email Interview #4: SkranchieZ.

In this post, you will get to know about her customer service and the quality of her skranchie.

Customer Service

Great and efficient service. Thumbs up! As this was my first time purchasing something via overseas,  I was actually quite hesistant in terms of the service and what to expect.

The owner, Annie, was great. I have opted for registered mail via post from Malaysia. She followed through my purchase by tracking the whereabouts about my item and also checked if I had received it.

She was thoughtful and conscientious with her customer. It was very assuring to buy from someone likt that,

It took about 2-3 weeks waiting time. From the date I enquired about my product to receiving it. That’s a good time, considering it had to pass through the Malaysia post whereby she did told me to bear with their national mail which can be a ‘snail’ at times.

She was also very open to received feedbacks and heeded it. If you have read my review about her, I did mentioned some suggestions to improve her blogshop or online shopping site.

She had added more information in her about me, an estimate postage charges for convenience of customers and had also been updating more designs.

Item received

It does look almost the same as on the picture posted on her blogshop.

The quality of the item is great too. However, I would have preferred the skranchie to be a little smaller (as it didn’t look that large via the image posted on her blogshop). Nevertheless, it did fit my hair nicely.

Last Words

Overall, my experience with this blogshop is great. This blogshop or online shopping site is indeed worth looking at and purchasing from.

Because of the great customer service she have, and also her desire and constant update of her site,  this blogshop deserve an upgrade in my best deal rating.

SkranchieZ had upgraded from nice deal to good deal.

I have reviewed about SkranchieZ in one of my recent post titled Trendy Hair Accessories – Skranchie. In this post, I conducted an email interview with the owner of the blogshop, Annie.

She had also shared in this interview an interesting online shopping tip when you make purchases online. You my readers can now find out more about Annie and her blogshop. =)

*Start of Interview*

1) Could you tell me more about yourself? How was your site created? Any other team member behind your blog shop’s success?

I am a 30 year-old homemaker and a mother of two girls who has a passion for sewing crafts. I am also a huge environment supporter and are trying my very best to help mother nature in whatever ways I can.

One of my mum’s friend, who is a dressmaker, decided to retire. She wanted to throw all the leftover materials away just like that. I told her I had this idea of buying them over and she was delighted. At the time, I had no time at all to put these materials to use as I had to juggle between my children, hubby and mum-in-law. After being put aside for 2 years, finally I can squeeze out some time to do this. I also bought some of the materials from tailor shops in Temerloh, Pahang.

I am a lone ranger in scrunchy making. No help from anyone at all. Sad but proud!

2) What is your blogshop or online shopping site offering? (Share at least 3.)
My blogshop concentrates only in handmade scrunchies. These are not just a normal scrunchies you get in shops. First of all they are handmade. And they are produced from leftover materials/fabrics bought from tailor shops.

Besides that, my blogshop also offers some personal experiences related to environment for my readers.

3) Which is your best selling item? And tell me more about it. (Preferably provide me a photo of at least 250 pixel in length)
Since my blog is quite new, I have not sold a lot of scrunchies yet, but my best seller is as attached.

It is priced at RM14.90. Three pastel colours strings (not ready made strings) made from polyester cloth are knotted into flower knots (chrysanthemum) and paired with polka dots materials for a little playfulness look. This is actually one of my favourite picks. I own one of them and received quite a number of positive feedback on it here in Temerloh.

4) Could you share one tip that your site have to ensure safe shopping online?

All payments are made either by Paypal (overseas customer) and Maybank Online transfer (local customers). Besides that, the photos taken on my scrunchies resembles the real one. I provide a close up view on my scrunchies to ensure customer will not regret later on.

5) One last online shopping tip you want to share with my readers.

Never trust the photos that are taken directly from catalogues (from Japan, Taiwan) for example like dresses. Photos taken by the blog owner on the product will resemble more of the real product than catalogues.  Ask for close up photos (normally taken with 7 megapixels cameras) before paying.

A Skranchie is a hair accessories that many ladies with long hair will own. Personally, even though I do not tie my hair often, I also own a few of them. What attracts you to buying the Skranchie? Could it be one with glitters on it, or perhaps something to match your outfit for the day.

I will be sharing with you a blogshop or online shopping site that sells handmade Skranchie and there is even an environmental-friendly factor there. Read on to find out more about this blogshop or online shopping site which I will be sharing with you.

This blogshop or online shopping site is located in Malaysia but oversea shipping are available.

Design Template

SkranchieZ has a simple and neat design template. She has chosen a nice background colour which fits into her focus of being environmental friendly.

At a glance, you will get to know more about her, the terms and conditions of purchasing etc.

I must say she is rather detailed in her terms and conditions catering to both local buyers and international buyer.  However, it would benefit international buyer if she could add some rough postage costing.

By having that included will allow potential customers like us to know what to expect should we want to purchase from her.

Focus and Content of the Blogshop or Online Shopping Site

Not much description was include with regards to the focus of her blogshop or online shopping site. If you were to infer from the name of her blogshop you might have guessed that the blogshop focuses on hair accessories, specifically skrachies.

She could probably add more description about herself and about her blogshop. To personalise the feel with customer, maybe by adding her name in will be good to.

If you are into environmental friendly, you might like the idea of how the blogshop came about. She is a huge supporter of the environment. Therefore her blogshop allow her to do her part for nature by recycling leftover materials  from tailor shops.

Customer Service

I do not have any shopping experience with her, and moreover this is an invited post therefore this can be quite subjective. However, I must commend that in our email conversation, she do sound very pleasant and willing to listen and take in feedbacks.

Best Deal?

This blogshop is relatively new. Therefore, more time needs to be given for variety to come in place. If she keeps up with continuing to update her blogshop and to add more new designs, I’m sure she can go far.

SkranchieZ deserves my nice deal with a great potential to move up my rating to even best deal if she keeps up the good work and add more variety and be focused. The price range of her Skranchies range from US$2.50 -$5. Which will probably be SGD$3.50 – $7.00.

With such a price range and the design of the Skranchies, these does look affordable especially some of the designs do look unique.
