I will be sharing with you my experience with 5 blogshops or online shopping sites. Amongst this 5 blogshops or online shopping sites (BeautiFeet, Jkorean, Jesnesz Paradiz, The Pasar Malam and ShopLah).  I have made purchases from 3 of them.

You will get to know about their efficiency and their customer service. Read on to find out more…

#1 BeautiFeet (You can read my review about her blogshop or online shopping site here)

Verdict: Superb customer service

She was very patient with the many queries and request I have. Indeed a very nice owner with good creativity skills.

I wanted her to customise a pair of shoes for me, yet I was not specific in my request. I only gave her 3 guidelines.

1. I would hope to wear the shoes to work
2. Able to wear it either with black or white pants, therefore hopefully it will be a half black, half white shoes.
3. I would like some drawings on my shoes, not just plain colours.

Outcome:

Not only did she managed to come out with a pair of pretty shoes for me, she even met me in person to pass me the shoes. She was also very concerned if I like the design of my shoes.

After thoughts: When I first saw the shoes, it did not give me the “Wow” factor. She had also forgotten to remove the shoe straps. I felt quite disappointed. However, when I’ve returned home. I took a look at the shoes again and I wore it. This time round, the longer I looked at it, the better it was. Ultimately, I concluded. Wow! the shoes are great even with the straps on.

Total waiting time from order to reaching me -> 2 nov – 25 nov(23 days)

In conclusion, I shall recommend BeautiFeet to anyone who likes unique handpainted shoes. BeautiFeet remains at Best deal.

#2 Jkorean (You can read my review about his blogshop or online shopping site here)

Verdict: Relatively slow in updating of status, but he made it a point to compensate. Overall, customer service still rated as  average to good.

Here’s the details of my order status with him:

Total waiting time from order to reach me -> 24 Oct – 20 nov(about 1 month)

19 Oct -> Enquired about item

21 Oct -> Sent another reminder enquiry as I did not receive a reply. Received reply that he needs more time as he is checking with supplier

24 Oct -> Item is available, made payment

9 Nov -> Checked with him on my item status. Replied that the item should reached him tomorrow, and I can meet up with him during the weekend. Very kind as initial meet-up was supposed to be City Hall but he agreed to meet at Dhoby Gaut instead.

14 Nov -> Realised that he is rushing for a project and will not be able to meet up with me. He will give me a free registered mail.

15 Nov -> Will let me know when he sent out the item

18 Nov -> Enquired when he will send out the item and had expressed the need for me to always prompt him to update the status of my item

19 Nov -> Sent out the item to me

20 Nov -> Registered article reached me but I was not home to received it.

26 Nov -> Finally retrieved my item from the post office.

After thoughts: If you are willing to wait for your item and is not in a hurry, you can buy things from Jkorean. However, I do hope that he can be a little more proactive in status update. Nevertheless, JKorean remains at good deal.

#3 Jesnez Paradiz (You can read my review about her blogshop or online shopping site here )

Verdict: Jesnez is very proactive and open to feedbacks about her blogshop or online shopping site.

Soon after the review of her blogshop or online shopping site was posted on my blog, she traced from her live traffic feed where viewers from her blog came from. She managed to find out about my blog and about my review about her.

She sent me an email to thank me. She also heeded my suggestion by being consistent about PayPal in her ordering info. Well done!

She also make plans for her blogshop and online shopping site such as Christmas sales and participating in a bazaar. She even rewards top shoppers in her blogshop or online shopping site by organising a contest.

We really need blogshop or online shopping site owner like her to be proactive and open to feedback for continual improvement

Some reader asked if they were still existent as they have not updated any collections recently. I have just enquired and was notified that they are currently on hiatus and will be back in December 2009.

Verdict: Customer service could have been more personal. Could have been more proactive in updating status of items and stuff. Downgrade to good deal

I have initially gave them a best deal for the range of apparels they have and also their efficient reply. However, after I have placed an order with them, the time taken for my item to reach me was very long.

After order was taken, they have mentioned that item will reach them in 7days and it will take them about 2-3days to reach me. So let’s use 10days as a gauge.

Details of my order status with them:

Total waiting time from order to reaching me -> 25 oct – 24 nov(about 1 month)

25 Oct -> Ordered item

3 Nov -> Received email that my item is out of stock, I can choose to replace my item with another one or request for a refund.

4 Nov -> Requested for replacement of item. Have an amount difference which require a refund. No idea where I can request for the refund because the email refund link was for total item refund. Enquired how I can go about doing it

6 Nov -> Received a reply, and here’s what they say: “Yes, Please fill up the refund form so that we can refund you the excess money of the difference.” That is equivalent to not answering my question. Anyway by then i have figured out how to request for the refund.

8 Nov(can’t remember if this is the exact day as I have deleted the email) -> I received another email, giving me the link to request for refund

20 Nov -> Enquired about the status of my order and I have not received it.

21 Nov -> Received an email telling me that my order was being mailed recently and I will be receiving my item soon.

24 Nov-> Finally received it

After thoughts

The item was packed properly and item looks exactly like what the model was wearing. Therefore, good job for that. However the reason for downgrading them from the best deal to good deal was because of the customer service, and long waiting time.  ShopLah did not meet my very good and efficient customer service. I would have been more accommodating if they had not promise about the 10days waiting time.
