Email Interview #11: We Love Sprees

I have reviewed about We love sprees in one of my first few posts in SG Blogshops Review titled Discount Crocs. I had a great shopping experience with this blogshop or online shopping site, I had commented about their great customer service.

In this post, I conducted an email interview with them.

1) Could you tell me more about yourself? How was your site created? Any other team member behind your blog shop’s success?

We Love Spree was started in an attempt to connect with a community of people, bringing them value-for-money products or achieve economies of scale through bulk purchases. As we do not have any IT based knowledge, we choose the most common and relatively simple method to start our online shop using blogger. As for our team of 2, we nicknamed ourselves as the “Chubby Gers” and as the name implies we love to indulge in food and also shopping!

2) What is your blogshop or online shopping site offering? (Share at least 3.)

We offer a variety of items. We first started with Crocs shoes and subsequently we offered inspired Agnes B., Longchamp wallets/ bags, Korean designed bags/accessories, B-Diff tote bags and Korean couple/ family tees. We hope to bring items that are suitable for everyone including family concept items. For our upcoming sprees, there will be automatic Korean toothpaste dispensers, Japanese design tote bags and many more. We hope to bring in a greater variety of quality items at value-for-money prices!

3) Which is your best selling item? And tell me more about it. (Preferably provide me a photo of at least 250 pixel in length)

Croc shoes are our best selling item so far. As we always have new designs coming in, most crocs shoes are quite popular but the best selling design now is Hello Kitty Series and Crocband Series.

4) Could you share one tip that your site have to ensure safe shopping online?

Always check if the spree organiser has a track record of completed sprees. You can identify them easily by the blog archive for completed sprees or reviews from buyers of their previous sprees. Through the enquiry processes, you will also be able to know how efficient and trustworthy the seller is and only buy from sellers whom you are comfortable with!

5) One last online shopping tip you want to share with my readers.

Always check the product description and measurements before place your orders. If in doubt, always ask first before placing your orders! (^^;)

I have another shopping experience with We love sprees once again. I will review about them when I received my item.

Unique Fabric Shoes for Your Beautiful Feet

Shoes are very dear to women. Somehow there is this adrenaline whenever we see shoes. I have recently came across a blogshop that caused this adrenaline to pump up when I saw the shoes. I am sure YOU will be all excited too. The designs of the fabric shoes are not only very pretty and unique, it is cheap too. Are you ready for it?

I present to you BeautiFeet, I’m sure you will like her designs. Even if you don’t, you can always ask her to customise something and moreover, it is free =)

Design Template

You can see for yourself that it is very clear that she is selling handpainted shoes. Her design template is simple but catchy.

Navigation tabs were used for easy navigation. In the “Comments/ Queries” tab, you are able to see what are some of the comments made by her customers. In the “order form” you get to order the shoes through a order form. There is also a visual picture on how you can measure your shoe size.

You will also know how BeautiFeet comes about and what are the prices of the shoes from the main page. I’m sure you will agree with me that from the first look at the blogshop you are clear on what to expect (be it how to order, or what are the designs she have)

Focus and content of the blogshop

Very clear focus and many designs to choose from. Should you not find any designs that you like, you can ask for customisation and it is free. You also get to decide whether you would like to remove the shoe straps.

There is this navigation on “other sales” which sells other items. I specifically like this idea of hers to categorise it, in order not to confuse customers or to lose focus should she include the other items in the main page.

In fact, I have yet to see any blogshop that sells handpainted shoes. They are unique, and she claimed that the shoes are very comfortable. Indeed, BeautiFeet is selling Unique Fabric Shoes.

Customer Service

Very efficient and helpful advice. She had in fact replied to my queries within a day. I’m sure that there is some concerns to buy shoes online because you do not get to try the shoes and is worried about buying the wrong size. I sent an email to her with regards to this concern. I asked if she had any idea or tips to measure shoe size so that we can order a shoe size that may fit us. Here’s her reply:

“… i usually advise customers to measure their feet from the tip of the longest toe to the end of the feet-heel with a ruler/measuring tape (in cm). My shoe sizes is about the same as outside brands like Charles and Keith. I understand your concern, and i recommend taking half to one cm bigger for the shoes. (e.g. feet length 23cm, get shoe size 37/38). Also, it depends whether you want to keep the straps as removing the straps will ”loosen” the shoes. You may refer to my order form for the sizes and measurements. Rest assure that the shoes are very comfortable -for most people…”

After reading her advice, I’m more sure on what size to order for myself. What about you?

Best deal?

Of course it is the best deal. Not only it is cheap, the price range is SGD$15-21 you get unique fabric handpainted shoes. The shoes will be suitable for your casual day out shopping, it may be even suitable for you to wear it to work, depending on what designs or your customisation.

I will be buying a pair from her soon but i need to decide what designs I would like. As for you, I hope you will enjoy shopping at BeautiFeet and do remember to exercise some constraint so that you do not burn a hole in your pocket by buying to many shoes from her

Discount Crocs

Crocs Santa Cruz

Are you a fan of Crocs? Because i have came across a blogshop that has Discount Crocs.

I must admit that i have used to dislike crocs alot. Firstly, it is very expensive. Secondly, i doubt if it is really that comfortable. Thirdly, there’s different function for certain designs of crocs, and i wonder how true it is. Fourthly, some of their designs are not nice looking or pleasing to my eyes at all.

However, I changed my mind one day after seeing santa cruz and i decided that i will give crocs a try if only i can find a blogshop which sells Discount Crocs.

To my excitement, i really found one!! I present to you We love sprees.

But before you go straight into your buying spree of crocs, do note that these crocs that they are selling are those that are sold in shops such as Factory Outlet store (meaning that the items may have slight defect such as number size printed wrongly.)

Design Template

We love sprees’s design template has some area of improvement needed. There is no navigation tab about them at all. To make the matter worst, when they have no links for visitors to view, they did not remove it at all , leaving the word “Link here” (view picture to see what i am talking about).

Aside from the navigation tab, there isn’t any description who they are to. When i first visited their blogshop, they had only just started out. It left me with uncertainties whether i should trust them and purchase anything from them.

Focus and content of the blogshop or online shopping site

Being critical about this blogshop, if they are called We love sprees, isnt it suppose to encompass other stuff beside crocs? Yet, i guess i should not fault them for now as they have only just started this blogshop in June. Therefore, not much content at the moment but just 3 sprees for crocs. They have also improved the way they handled order. At spree #1, it was just normal ordering format. At spree #3, excel sheet order format was used.

Back to crocs. Yes! They have Discount Crocs.

They organise pre-order spree for crocs, but do note that their collection of crocs designs are not complete and not all sizes are available. Some collection of crocs range for kids, female and male are available. Aside from these limitation, here’s the wonderful deal. It is selling at a very cheap price, literally discount Crocs. Santa Cruz Women is selling at SGD$27, compared to the ones sold at the Crocs Shop is about SGD$80.

Customer Service

At my first order (during their spree #1) I ordered 2 pairs of crocs for myself, 3 pairs for my family, 6 pairs for colleagues. You must be thinking i must be crazy to order a total of 11 pairs, especially when i didn’t know them or whether their crocs are authentic to begin with.

But well, the motivation for me to do that was that at least i could do a meet up (which means that i can see who is this person selling the crocs), and also since it is so cheap, what is the worst that it can get? If it is really bad, at least i have learnt never to trust this blogshop again. I can still wear the items i bought and take it as a pair of shoe that i have bought from a market (meaning not branded).

Her reply was fast and in fact, i have made some changes to my order along the way. I did not order all 11 pairs at one go as i was consolidating orders and she accommodated to my constant addition and changes. As the crocs are pre-ordered, there was a period of about 3 weeks of waiting.

She sends email to update about the status of the crocs. Upon arrival of the crocs, during the meet up (it was suppose to be at a venue that was convenient for her) but met me at train station near my place. After all the orders are received, she assured me that if there were anything wrong i could contact her again.

We love sprees also did an additional favour for me. My dad wanted to purchase a pair of Beach Men but i did not order it initially because we mistook that there wasn’t the size he wore. I asked We love sprees if she had the Beach Men in stock so that i didnt have to wait till the next pre-order. She informed me about the availability and to add to her good customer service, she arranged another meet up even though it was supposed to be mailed (the initial rule was to have a minimum no. of pairs ordered before a meet up is possible). Well done We love sprees!

Best Deal?

YES , this a the best deal for crocs. If you are looking for authentic crocs, and you do not mind the slight defects, go for it! We love sprees had only been selling crocs at the moment. I’m not sure about their future plans. I do hope they do organise other sprees since they are called “We love sprees”.

Crocs Review

On a side note, as i ordered from We love sprees during spree #1, i have not purchased Santa Cruz at all, since it was not available then. I got myself a black Alice Women and a White Prima Women. Initially, i these shoes caused some blister, hoever it got more comfortable as you wear it more often.

So meanwhile till i purchase my “dream Santa Cruz” ( i am trying to save money at the moment since i have already purchased 2 pairs of crocs) , i will end my review here. I hope they will also have improved on their design template, include more collections of crocs then.
